At Timbers Boarding Cattery, we’ve created a feline-exclusive retreat that’s the cat’s whiskers when it comes to comfort, safety, and care. Our purpose-built cattery has been designed and constructed to the highest standards by specialist manufacturers who truly understand the needs of our four-pawed guests.

Security is top priority—our facilities are fitted with smoke detectors, an intruder alarm system, and state-of-the-art wireless CCTV, keeping a watchful eye on all accommodation areas and entrances. And because we believe peace of mind is purr-amount, our own private home is just a whisker away—within a few metres of the cattery—so we’re always close by.

Whether your cat prefers to lounge solo or stretch out with family, we offer a range of accommodation units including single, double, and family-sized suites. Each one is thoughtfully designed to give your cat space to eat, sleep, and relax in privacy.

From the cosy indoor sleeping quarters, a little ladder leads to a private outdoor run—purr-fect for catching a breeze or sniffing out the scents wafting in from the nearby Hatfield Forest.

Our sleeping areas are individually heated for those chilly winter months, while ventilation ensures year-round freshness and hygiene. Transparent dividers between outdoor runs ensure cats remain safe and separate—minimizing stress and keeping everything squeaky clean and serene.

Should your feline friend feel under the weather during their stay, we’ll contact your own vet. We also have 24-hour veterinary cover available for added reassurance.

To protect the health of every guest, a valid vaccination certificate must accompany each cat upon arrival—this is not only a regulatory requirement but also a vital step in ensuring a safe, healthy environment for all.
