Timbers boarding cattery is a purpose built building exclusively for cats, designed and constructed to a high standard by a specialist manufacturer. 

The cattery has been professionally fitted with smoke alarms, an intruder alarm system and we have state of the art wireless CCTV covering the accommodation area and entrances.

Also our private home is within a few metres of our guests . 

We really want you to have peace of mind while you are apart from your much loved pets.

There are single, double and family size accommodation units, which allow privacy for eating, sleeping or relaxing. Leading from the sleeping area, a ladder allows access to an outside run where fresh air may be sniffed, to pick up the aromas drifting in from Hatfield Forest, which is close by. 

Within the sleeping accommodation there is individual heating for stays during the colder winter months, it is also well ventilated for comfort during milder weather, and for hygiene reasons. Each outside run has transparent divisions which prevent cat to cat contact, this again is for hygiene and safety reasons for the well being of your cat.

In the unlikely event that a health problem may develop during the stay, your vet will be contacted. We also have 24 hour vetinary cover if needed. With regard to the health and welfare it is a requirement that a current inoculation certificate must accompany each cat at all times in order to comply with regulations and to minimise any risk of transmissible disease.
